My Story

My journey began at Toronto Metropolitan University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Journalism. My time at TMU allowed me to hone my skills in storytelling and reporting, giving me a unique perspective on how to communicate effectively and authentically.

I started my career as a breaking news reporter in the Toronto Star's Radio Room, where I sharpened my ability to deliver timely and accurate news. I then moved on to The Walrus as a digital producer and event manager, crafting compelling content and organizing impactful "Ted Talk style" events.

At this point, your girl has chosen to pivot. I am expanding my expertise by pursuing a certification in UX/UI design at the University of Toronto, which will allow me to further enhance user experiences and create more impactful narratives.

In addition to the many hats I've worn, I’ve chosen to add another by pursuing teaching. I've had the incredible opportunity to be a teaching assistant at my alma mater and I couldn't think of a better way to pay it forward to all my incredible profs and TA's than supporting students and helping them realize how brilliant they truly are.

Supporting marginalized communities is at the heart of my work. I believe in using my skills and platforms to elevate voices and brands that deserve recognition and success. My story is one of continuous learning, dedication, and a commitment to making a positive impact. Together, we can create stories that resonate, inspire, and drive meaningful change.
